Subscribing normally starts with a 7-day trial period, then costs Rs 1800 for two months and can go up to Rs 10000 for a year. The YuFit band along with the companion app offers features such as step tracking; sleep tracking, distance walked, and calories burnt. The app also lets users track how many calories they have consumed, with its database also including Indian snacks and dishes. The companion app allows users to set ‘Daily Goals’ and even offers altering plan option with My Plan feature. There is a ‘Do not disturb’ slot on the app for the band. The YuFit will be competing against the likes of the Xiaomi Mi Band, which is also available at the same price. However, YuFit’s biggest advantage is that it sports a touch-enabled OLED screen, which allows for switching between modes on the device. It is mounted on the band and displays information such as task reminders, time, call or message notifications, number of steps taken while walking; calories burned, and sleep patterns. The manufacturer claims it can last on a single charge for three weeks and is waterproof. Whereas the Xiaomi-owned wearable gadget is not equipped with a screen, relying on its app to tell users information. It has a slightly longer battery life of 30 days and comes with military grade sensors. Its design consists of a hypoallergenic silicone band with an aluminum core. Healthifyme is paired along with the YuFit app to record and analyze data. Both require Android 4.3 and above to function, with iOS compatibility coming later downs the line. Healthifyme can be used to monitor fitness goals and has over 500 exercises and activities in its database.
