According to a new report by CapFrameX, a game performance analysis tool, NVIDIA is purportedly working on “AI optimized drivers” that could enhance the game performance of compatible GeForce graphics cards by “up to 30%”. Further, the performance improvement that will be gained will increase by an average of 10%.

Apparently, AMD is working on a similar feature called HYPR-RX for upcoming Radeon graphics, which will be a single-click performance boost technology combining Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), Radeon Boost, and Radeon Anti-Lag. This one-click solution will reduce system latency in games (Anti-Lag), enable dynamic resolution scaling (Boost), and include support for spatial image scaling, which improves game performance (RSR). Coming to the CapFrameX report, it does not provide information on which graphics cards will support these new AI optimized GPU drivers. Also, it is unclear how would such AI optimization improve NVIDIA’s GPU drivers and affect the user’s experience of graphic processing. Since CapFrameX’s report is highly uncertain, it looks like we will have to wait for more information on the NVIDIA AI drivers to be revealed.
