The Polaroid Cube+ camera measures 1.4 inches square and can be connected to smartphones and tablets via the Polaroid Cube+ app for iOS and Android. Users can control their Cube+ cameras remotely, which will also allow them to transfer the photos and videos that they can edit and share from their phone or tablet directly with their friends online. It does not look like The Cube+ has any upgraded imaging optics. It takes 6 megapixel still photos and has a 124-degree wide-angle lens that records up to 90 minutes of continuous video in 1080p full HD resolution. The Cube+ can also capture 8-megapixel photos and streams video in Full HD. The camera has a microSD card slot that takes memory cards up to 32GB in capacity. It is also splash-resistant up to 6.5 feet. The regular Polaroid Cube will continue to be on sale for $99.99, and will come in two new colors: hot pink and glow-in-the-dark green. The latter would be great for nighttime use, if it actually glows in the dark. Meanwhile, the Polaroid Cube+ will be available in red, blue and black colors and will be launched in August.
